The Vice President, Titleist Balls & Clubs, will have deep respect for the game of golf and feel a sense of privilege and excitement to serve the Titleist brand. In this role, you will support leadership inclusive of both long-term and short-term goals. The VP, HR will be a true HR Business Partner and help drive the priorities, resources and talent to deliver on the strategic objectives of the brand and its product categories.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and direction to the Human Resources staff in the development and execution of value added initiatives focused on domestic Employee Relations and Employment to provide a productive and motivated work-force capable of meeting business plan objectives.
  • Responsible for the strategic human resource planning to provide the company with the best people talent available and to position the company as the Employer of Choice.

  • Evaluate and establish corporate positions on HR policy, procedure, past practice and regulatory compliance.
  • Develop/ implement innovations to protect company from adverse impact and foster positive employee relations.
  • Counsel and motivate site assigned Human resources staff to deliver timely, consistent and value added HR support in a cost effective manner
  • Direct the development and implementation of short and long term employee relations initiatives to support a proactive productive work environment. Develop appropriate policies and programs for effective management of the people resources of the corporation.
  • Partner with other executives in the design of organizational structure. Assess individual department strategy, and formulate staffing plans based upon organizational need and incumbent potential.
  • Consult with Centers of Excellence (COEs) in development and communication of Compensation, Benefits, Talent Acquisition and Health/Safety.
  • Evaluate and advise on the impact of long range planning of new programs/strategies and regulatory action as those items impact the attraction, motivation, development and retention of the people resources of the corporation.
  • Participate in the development of the corporation's plans and programs as a strategic partner but particularly from the perspective of the impact on people.
  • Responsible for managing all legal matters in regard to employment litigation. Responsible for relationship with third party legal counsel and the investigation, formulation and representation of the company
  • BS in Business Administration, labor relations, Industrial Psychology or related field. MBA preferred.
  • 10-15 years of senior-level HR leadership / business partnership experience
  • Ability to forge strong relationships with internal and external partners, furthering a team spirit and driving success as "we"
  • Courageous leader who will create a motivated, creative team that nurtures Titleist as a relevant, vibrant and modern brand. Ability to develop trust and credibility with senior business leaders that leads to improved organizational effectiveness.

  • Ability to connect with key stakeholders to shape a collective consensus.
  • 15-20% domestic travel annually
  • Proven success as an integral part of an executive management team, contributing in business areas beyond HR.
  • Demonstrated success and resiliency operating in an industry and/or organization facing rapid change.
  • Negotiates with a genuine give-and-take approach, where both act as true peers and decisions are shared.
  • Spends time identifying all stakeholders necessary and meets or connects with all of them, neglecting no one to shape a collective consensus.
