We have just launched a new company called Civetta Therapeutics located in Cambridge, MA that was founded by William Sellers (Broad Institute and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute) and Eric Fischer (Dana Farber Cancer Institute and Harvard Medical School). We are looking to engage a high-quality team of researchers to advance new medicines through small molecule intervention targeting propeller domains with the goal of developing important therapeutics for cancer and other indications. About the Founders:

William Sellers is a core institute member of the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard, a faculty member at Harvard Medical School, and faculty member and senior advisor to the president for experimental therapeutics at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

Eric Fischer is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biological Chemistry and Molecular Pharmacology at Harvard Medical School and an Independent Investigator, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.


  • 90% bench work
  • Provide guidance to Discovery Project Biology team
  • Contribute to leadership of target projects
  • Target ID, target validation, develops and runs assays, small molecule drug discovery cascade execution


  • PhD. in Biology or related field with post-doc and 5 years of industry experience
  • Experience with early stage research program(s) to identify and validate novel targets
  • Good communication skills
  • Provide input to peers and RAs
  • Contributes to Civetta Therapeutics group strategic goals, solid understanding of relevant literature
  • Integrity, collaboration, energy and drive
