As the Talent Engagement Brand Associate Manager you will design and develop a comprehensive and engaging employer brand strategy to drive brand awareness and showcase Altria as an employer of choice. You will create a compelling narrative of Altria's mission, core values, and inclusive culture to attract and engage creative talent to drive our organization into its next evolution and continue to ensure our position as an industry leader. WHAT YOU'LL NEED
You are a Creator, a Storyteller, an Evangelizer. You have a passion for helping to build, reinforce, craft and share elements of a dynamic and unique corporate culture through communications on social media, online marketing, internal collaboration tools, etc.

You are creative yet analytical, enabling you to use data and metrics to ensure our brand is impactful and measure performance to remain agile in your strategies and approach.

You have a passion for growing the business through brand strategy and management.

You are socially aware, resourceful, have a high EQ, and aren't afraid to pursue new marketing deliverables.

HOW YOUR SUCCESS WILL BE VALIDATED:

Successful development of the brand positioning, brand essence and brand identity for Altria's new employment brand. You will build an integrated marketing campaign inclusive of the creative, copy and collateral to support the brand as a key attraction tool for Altria - for experienced hires, campus recruiting, diversity outreach and manufacturing positions.

Creation of innovative strategies to expand the brand beyond recruitment to become a full-life cycle employment brand that embodies the career progression from hire to exit encompassing development, progression, culture, total rewards and eventually resignation/retirement.

Partner cross-functionally with recruiters, hiring managers and other members of hiring teams to ensure we have the right brand messaging for each unique position in order to attract top talent.

Understand how different audiences seek employment - scientists, developers, regulators, finance, law, sales, manufacturing, etc. including niche roles, especially passive candidates (those who are not actively looking for another job). Work as part of the recruiting team to ensure that each vacancy gets posted in the right way to the right audience.

Lead the vendor relationships with the employment brand agencies to include creation of materials, videos, website designs, presentations, etc. including analyzing return on investments for all recruiting campaigns including vendor execution.

YOU HAVE:
  • 3 years or more experience with the company and a familiarity with brand management
  • A passion for Altria and talent to lead enterprise-wide change initiatives
  • Ability to act autonomously to take advantage of opportunities to build Altria as an employer of choice for both future and current employees
  • Inclusive leadership skills with an ability to influence Altria's employment value proposition to align with talent we desire
  • Strong knowledge and curiosity of the external environment of job seekers
  • Strong communication, process and project management skills
