Description

The Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission, Prince George's County, Parks and Recreation, Youth and Countywide Sports Division is seeking Volleyball Instructors. The qualified person(s) will have experience instructing volleyball. This experience includes, a thorough knowledge of the current high school volleyball rules and regulations and the ability to instruct participants on the different skill sets for volleyball. This position must also have experience working with children ages 5-17, and demonstrate a high level of enthusiasm for the program and its participants. The sports instructor must be able to work independently and be responsible for lesson and curriculum planning, oversight of participants to ensure that all safety precautions are taken and exceptional customer service skills which involves interaction with the participants and parents. Most, but not all programs will be offered on nights and weekends. Flexibility is a must.Salary rangeis $16.00/hr - $35.00/hr depending on experience and qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

At least 4 years volleyball instructing experience
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Microsoft Office
